Jack Stone Investigations Inc., Florida Private Investigator Agency License No.: A 3400161

Q: Is this a scam?

A: No, this is not a scam. While there are companies who present themselves as asset recovery specialists, they most likely do not have legal staff or are not aware of the court filings and proceedings that are entailed. However, JSI Asset Recovery Services specializes in asset and surplus funds recovery and will retain attorneys at our own expense, when needed, who are well-versed in representing our clients in court should the need arise.

Q: Why aren’t these funds and assets claimed?

A: All states and many federal agencies have enacted unclaimed property laws that strictly prohibit corporations from holding funds that cannot be returned to their rightful owners. These laws uniformly require companies to turn over nontransferable funds to government agencies to be held in trust funds. In that case, government authorities must make diligent efforts to find the rightful owner. In most states, lost funds are held until the owner is found and returned to you for free or a small fee after you submit a claim form and verify your identity.

Q: Can I collect the funds on my own?

A: If JSI Asset Recovery Services notified you of lost or unclaimed assets it may be possible for you to claim them on your own. However, locating lost assets, and filing and adhering to guidelines, court rules and all that could be entailed in the recovery process were easy, we would not be in business. Our years of experience has enabled us to know the ins and outs of the recovery process which has afforded us the ability to expedite claims and recover assets faster while avoiding any unnecessary expenses and mistakes throughout the process.

Q: What happens to my money if I do not claim it?

A: There are no statutes of limitation. The amount reported can be claimed by the original owner and/or heirs at any time.

Q: Do I need to personally appear in court?

A: In almost all cases you will not have to appear in court when choosing JSI Asset Recovery Services. Our trusted counsel we retain at our own expense will attend all required hearings on your behalf. This helps our clients that live outside of the state and country still collect their unclaimed and surplus funds without all the additional hassle of travel arrangements or taking time off of work.

Q: Why choose JSI Asset Recovery Services?

A: JSI Asset Recovery Services is dedicated to providing exemplary service with attention to detail.  Our clients rely on us to navigate the tedious process of recovering unclaimed funds to preserve their own time and energy.  Our team is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that recovering your funds goes as swiftly and efficiently as possible.

Q: How do you know the money goes to me?

A: We will need to research the chain of ownership of the asset to make sure you did not unwillingly sell or sign away your rights to it somehow.

Q: What are the chances that you will be able to recover the money?

A: If the money is yours, we will get it for you. We take pride in reuniting our clients with their lost assets.

Q: What will you need to recover the money?

A: To be 100% sure, we need to do some digging.  Depending on your individual case, there may be contracts we need to find, court documents to track down, deeds to order, photo identification to copy, wills to locate, title searches to hire out, investigators to send out, or trips to government offices to make.

Q: How long will it take?

A: It depends mainly on: 1) How quickly we can gather the necessary proof and identifying information together; and 2) How fast the government holding the asset moves.  Depending on the state or county, it can take a few weeks to many months.

Q: What does it cost me?

A: We only get paid when we recover your money, so we have every incentive to be efficient, effective, and successful on your behalf, thus making it a risk-free offer for our customers. JSI Asset Recovery Services charges a simple fee based on the total amount of assets successfully recovered. Our fees cover the cost of the entire process, to include but not limited to asset discovery and identification, recovery, legal court filings, notaries, etc.

Q: Are there any hidden attorney fees or costs when choosing JSI Asset Recovery Services to recover my surplus funds?

A: There are never any hidden attorney fees or costs associated with the recovery process with JSI Asset Recovery Services. Many companies will in fact have you pay back any legal fees and expenses they paid during the recovery process and will deduct those fees from your portion of the surplus funds without advising you upfront. Our recovery agreement does not include any hidden fees whatsoever. We cover all costs incurred by the recovery process at our expense and only get paid if we are successful in recovering your funds. Our contingency fee includes all legal fees and expenses and does not come from your portion of the surplus or unclaimed funds.

Q: How will I be paid?

A: Once the asset recovery process is complete, you will receive a check from us in the mail. It’s as simple as that.

Q: I received a letter, what do I do now?

If you have received a letter regarding funds owed to you or a deceased relative, please contact our office by phone (754-802-5768) or email to get started. Processing unclaimed assets from a deceased individual’s estate can be particularly complicated and is dependent on details surrounding the decedent's estate. We will be happy to advise on how to move forward with your specific case!
